NLP with Disaster Tweets in R

Twitter has become an important communication channel in times of emergency. The ubiquitousness of smart phones enables people to announce an emergency they are observing in real-time. In this project, we study each tweet with NLP and deep learning methods, then, to classify which one announces a disaster.

The final prediction accuracy is approximate 80% which is top 30% in the competition.
